High Court Orders Raid on Unauthorized SAP Training Institute

Part of ongoing crackdown on institutes offering illegal training using SAP software

Bangalore, Karnataka, December 27, 2006 /India PRwire/ -- SAP India, the leading provider of business software solutions, today announced that following a civil suit for Infringement of Copyright filed with Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, the court appointed local commissioner conducted civil raids at SAPzen Consulting India Pvt. Ltd (SAPzen) - an unauthorized training Institute having branches in Bangalore and Mumbai.

During the aforesaid raids at their training centers in Bangalore and Mumbai, it was found that these centers were running unlicensed version of the SAP software on its 53 computers- of which 22 belonged to the Bangalore training center and 31 to the Mumbai training center. As part of the court order, all these computers were seized by the local commissioners in the respective cities.

We are looking at further intensifying our campaign by working closely with the authorities against these unauthorized training institutes.”

Some of the other institutes, which were cracked down earlier include Indian Satellite Research & Development Organization (ISRDO) located at New Delhi, Growel Softech Ltd. located in Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Mumbai and the Bangalore offices of NeoLogik and United Systems India Pvt. Ltd.
