Arista Networks has appointed Netweb Technologies to distribute its product range in the Indian market. Arista Networks focuses on 10G networking equipment especially for large datacenters, High Performance Computing deployments and cloud Infrastructure space.

"Arista is one of the most promising enterprises networking vendor. We expect customers in India to readily accept the products. The acceptance and demand should even increase manifold once the 10G price drops below $500 per switch port. And we are certain that it is going to happen sooner than later." said Sandeep Lodha, Vice President, Netweb Technologies.
Netweb, which focuses on high performance computing and storage, have the largest installed base for HPC solutions in the country. "We expect a number of our HPC customers to upgrade to 10G soon," said Lodha. "We have also started discussions with other systems integrators and networking specialists in India about reselling Arista product line, and the response has been good," he added.
