AMD Hosts 'High Flyers' Annual Channel Meet in Australia

100 AMD 'High Flyers' were recognized for their contribution to the AMD Channel Business at Gold Coast, Australia

Bangalore, Karnataka, April 29, 2009 /India PRwire/ -- AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced the completion of its Annual ‘High Flyers’ Challenge, which culminated last week. AMD hosted its annual channel meet at Gold Coast, Australia for channel partners who accomplished their prescribed goals and in turn became AMD ‘High Flyers’. The three day annual event recognized the critical role the channel partners played in bringing award-winning AMD products to mainstream Indian markets and in further expanding the market to small towns and cities in India. Twenty five channel partners were acknowledged and rewarded for their contribution during the event.

The year long ‘High Flyers’ challenge was conceptualized to recognize AMD’s valued channel partners who have made significant contributions to the growth of AMD’s business in India.
