Jetking, renowned as India’s No. 1 Computer-Hardware and Networking Institute, well-known for their Smartlab training techniques, posted excellent results for the first quarter of the 2009 fiscal.

The company posted Profit After Tax of Rs 351.81 lacs for the quarter ended June 30, 2008, a hop of 48.7% over Rs 236.58 lacs for the same quarter last fiscal. Net Income during the same period rose 52% to Rs 1,095.07 lacs, up from Rs 720.43 lacs in the last fiscal.

The Board of Directors of the Company declared an interim dividend @ 50%, i.e., of Rs.5/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each for the financial year 2008-09 on the pre-bonus equity capital of 392,600 equity shares of Rs. 10 each.

Announcing the results, Mr. Suresh G. Bharwani, Chairman & Managing Director of Jetking Infotrain Limited said, “We are quite pleased with our present turnover and going forward, we hope to maintain the growth pitch.”

Mr. Nandu G. Bharwani, Joint Managing Director of Jetking Infotrain Limited added, "We feel that we will be able to sustain this growth momentum for Jetking with the addition of 9 new centers in the the first quarter and plans to open an equal numberin each of the following quarters."
