LG GS500 Cookie Plus: Price, specification & features
LG launched on February 10, the GS500 Cookie Plus, a 3G touch screen feature phone. LG GS500 Cookie Plus has a 240 x 400 pixel touchscreen display, a 3 mega pixel class camera with MPEG4 video recording and digital zoom, 3G support and an FM radio.

LG GS500 Cookie Plus has a 240 x 400 pixel touchscreen display, a 3 mega pixel class camera with MPEG4 video recording and digital zoom, 3G support and an FM radio. The GS500 Cookie Plus offers a unique "Editable Screen shot" MMS feature that take screen shots of websites to edit and mail to friends.
2G & 3G Network enabled LG GS500 Cookie Plus new hand dimension is of 107.1 x 52.5 x 11.9 mm. This phone has 1000 phone call entries with micro SD card slot expandable upto 16GB. GS500 Cookie Plus having GPRS Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 - 48 kbps, EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Blue tooth and USB.
Other features of newly released JAVA enabled LG GS500 Cookie Plus includes messaging in form of SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, WAP 2.0/x HTML, HTML browser and games facility. This speaker phone having Vibration; Downloadable polyphonic, MP3 ring tones, composer. GS500 Cookie plus features adding Social networking support with built-in applications to use Twitter, Flickr and Facebook. There's also a cartoon-style user interface available.
But don't worry if the Cookie Plus with its HSDPA doesn't seem too much of an upgrade to you. LG plans to offer a full batch of new Cookie handsets in 2010 so we are looking at a first of many here. Their press release mentions another mysterious Cookie, called LG GS290. It should be available in the UK in mid-March, but details will follow later.
Getting back to the "star" - the LG Cookie Plus is definitely set on a mission to conquer the world and will roll out globally to 45 countries beginning with France and Italy in early March. Pricing is yet unknown though.
This phone will be available in three colors i.e.- Black, Silver, Purple and will available in the market in March. Price of GS500 Cookie Plus is still not clear.
