Specialty chemicals company LANXESS India today announces its support to the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Jhagadia on the Child Welfare and Educational Project.

LANXESS India sponsors 89 ITI students in Jhagadia for a year
-- Specialty chemicals company LANXESS India today announces its support to the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Jhagadia on the Child Welfare and Educational Project. For the project, LANXESS India has donated Rs. 1,20,000 to the institute to sponsor the education of 89 students for a year.
LANXESS India's sponsorship includes one year of educational training, students' fee for the training program and the purchase of engineering toolkits required for the curriculum.
On behalf of LANXESS India, Dr. Rainier van Roessel, member of the Board of Management, LANXESS AG, handed the certificate of sponsorship to Mr. C.M. Patel, Foreman Instructor of ITI in Jhagadia.
ITI Jhagadia trains students and educates them in various technical works, such as electrical, fitter, welding and motor rewinding. It also conducts computer classes for the students.
LANXESS aims to inspire students to realize their full potential and emphasizes the role of education in enabling better career opportunities for them in the future.
Dr. Joerg Strassburger, Managing Director and Country Representative of LANXESS India, says, "To be healthy and happy, one needs to make conscious choices in life. Students need to be educated in order to make those choices and that is only possible through the empowerment that education offers. LANXESS India is happy to contribute to the education of youths, which equip them with the necessary skills to contribute to the prosperity of the country."
