Insecticides (India) Limited Posts Excellent Results

Insecticides (India) Limited , total income increased by 55%* as compared to last year quarter from Rs 52.62 Crores to Rs 81.81 crores for the period ending December 31, 2009. Similarly, the profit after tax also grew to Rs 5.57 Crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2009 as compared to Rs 2.07 Crores for period ending December 31, 2008, registering an impressive increase of 169%*.
EPS stands at Rs 4.40 as compared to Rs. 1.63 per share for the corresponding quarter of the last financial year, which is an increase of 170%*.
The results for the period of nine months have shown remarkable growth of 36 % in sales & 45% rise in net profit as compared to last year. The net sales and profit figures has already exceeded the figures of last financial year ending March 09 within 9 months of its working, sales already is up by 11%* and net profit up by 5 %*.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director - Insecticides (India) limited said, "The impressive Q3 results have been encouraging and we strive to continue enhancing our revenues. I expect our positive momentum to strengthen further with our forthcoming projects."
