BJP leader Piyush Goyal celebrates L K Advani's book launch by organising a party attended by top notch politicians, celebrities and socialites

BJP functionary and chartered accountant Piyush Goyal paid glowing tributes to BJP senior leader and Leader of the Opposition L. K. Advani on the occasion of the launch of the latter's book launch " My Country, My Life".Goyal celebrated the occasion with a fabulous party that was attended by Uddhav Thackeray (Shiv Sena Executive President) and several socialites and celebrities.

Goyalpaid glowing tributes to Advani, who is the BJP's Prime Ministerial nominee for the next Lok Sabha elections by stating that he was the best Union Home Minister ever in recent times.

L K Advani, was released by former President A P J Abdul Kalam in the presence of thousands of admirers and partymen this evening. The 980 page book documents the rise of Mr Advani right from his first political initiation as a Swayamsevak of the RSS to his rise as Deputy Prime Minister in the NDA Government playing active role in almost every elections that took place in independent India. Releasing the book Dr Kalam said the book was the rich tapestry of Indian history gifted with inverse clarity and lucid analysis. It offers the panaramic view of one billion people and evolution of his own political career and his role in the governance. He said during his interaction with Mr Advani as a President he had always found Mr Advani a creative leader with a long term vision even while trecking the unexplored path. He always found him composed during discussions on national issues.

Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat said the huge book had almost all the details of public life and the writer had given his insight into varous aspects of political happenings revolving around him. He has a flair for writing on any issue although discussing the issue and writings was a different ball game. Mr Advani said the only regret about the whole event was the absence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee but he was indeed happy that he had sent his blessings through his message. ''I always viewed his with great respect.'' He recalled his school days when he joined the RSS and the organisation had moulded his thinking, nature. "I owe it to the RSS the ideological family every good things I have learnt in my life and happiness to the personal family".
