Celon Labs provides free bus ride for women commuters Greets women & lady doctors with roses
Tweet-- To make the 'International Women's Day' special for the women commuters in the city, Celon Laboratories Ltd., - a biopharmaceutical company specialising in oncology and critical care drugs, organized a free bus ride for women commuters in the city in 'Celon branded bus.' Celon employees made the day more pleasant by presenting roses to the women commuters and lady doctors in the city.
Celon Bus' was flagged off by Ms. Bhavana Saxsena, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Women Protection Cell, at Begumpet 'Shoppers Stop' bus stop at 9:30 am. The bus crisscrossed the city through the day from Begumpet to Secunderabad, SR Nagar, Lakdi-ka-pool, Abids, Masab Tank, Banjara Hills, Nagarjuna Circle, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, Hitech city etc. At enroute bus stops, women waiting for city buses had a surprise with they being invited to board the Celon Bus, while the envious men at the bus stops looked on. Greeting the women commuters with roses compounded their happiness further. Women commuters were provided a free ride to their destinations. Many women profusely thanked 'Celon Labs' for sparing them the unending wait for the city buses, daily grind of commuting in overcrowded buses, jostled from all around and feeling exhausted at the end of the journey.
Simultaneously, 'Celon Labs' employees visited lady doctors at various clinics & hospitals and greeted them by presenting roses. Senior Gynaecologist Dr. Archana Chari at Madhav Nursing Home, S.D.Road, Secunderabad was one among the first doctors to be greeted.
We wanted to pay our tribute to women on this special day and the best way to do it is to make their day pleasant. Providing a free bus ride to the hassled women commuters and greeting them with roses, we thought was a way to make them feel special, says K V Ravindra, CEO, Celon Laboratories Ltd.
