Dragonair today announced it will reschedule the launch of its new service to Bengaluru (Bangalore) in India to July 1. The decision was made after taking into consideration such factors as the availability of local facilities and the amount of time needed to prepare for operations after the opening of the new Bengaluru International Airport.
The new daily service to Bengaluru, operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft, marks the first time for Dragonair to operate passenger flights to India. The service will provide new opportunities for people travelling between Hong Kong and the technology capital of India, located in the south of the country.
