It is extending its same motto of communicating and enduing masses, this time "with social media" by initiating "Socialmedia4empowerment" portal where social media evangelists can gather under one umbrella to connect and communicate with the world with a trust that "may be it takes time, but changes do happen".
On EverydayMumbai's nomination as one of the finalists from 162 nominations across 09 categories, creator photographer Chirag Wakaskar said, "It feels great for the project to be recognized as attempting to help create dialogue & awareness amongst the residents of the city as well as rest of India about important topics of social relevance. The project has been completely non-commercial and I've consciously shared photo stories of acid attack survivors, transgender, homosexuality, climate change, and similar stories that create a dialogue.
