GVK one plays host to the 'Little Freedom Fighters' of Hyderabad!

-- On Independence Day, visitors of GVK one - Hyderabad's 7.5 lakh sq.ft mall were treated to an entertainment of a different kind! The mall put together a grand show with 5 to 10 year olds walking the ramp enacting their favourite freedom fighter.
To appreciate and keep alive the spirit of patriotism in each citizen, GVK one had organized this fashion show opportunity for children to help them understand in detail and appreciate the many different freedom fighters that the country has to its name. Through this initiative the children were thus given a chance to learn more about the character they were enacting.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Naiju Thomas, General Manager-GVK said, 'In order to keep the legacy of our freedom fighters alive ,GVK one has provided a stage for children between the ages of 5 to 10 to express their creativity and in the process learn more about the country's soldiers because of whom we are an independent nation today. Through activities such as this, we hope to relive and keep the spirit of Independence Day alive amongst young and old alike'
The ambience of the mall was at an all time high with the 'little freedom fighters' keeping the audience engaged providing a real treat for the eyes! Around 27 children actively participated with confidence. Parents and guardians of the children played a major part in helping them prepare for the role of their respective character. Their involvement was apparent in the distinct and precise adaptation of their (freedom fighters) characters.
GVK one has been continuously taking such initiatives to provide educative entertainment for its visitors as well as the general public through their participation.
At the end of an enthralling performance by the children, the following children were declared as winners and presented special prizes by GVK one.
1st Prize - Name: Harini ( Jhansi Ki Rani)
2nd Prize- Name: Rhishikesh (Subhash Chandra Boss)
3rd Prize- Name: Dhyan ( Bal GangadharTilak)
