'Think, plan and act' is the mantra of Funskool's new range of strategic games that have been conceptualized by the IIT-Mumbai students and promise to improve your logical abilities.
Industrial Design Centre (IDC) of IIT-Bombay has designed these games and Chennai-based toy and game manufacturer Funskool is producing and marketing them.
'We are delighted to launch the strategic games conceptualized by IIT-Bombay and are confident that these games would inculcate logical thinking among kids,' R. Jeswant, Funskool's general manager for sales and marketing, said in a press release here Wednesday.
Funskool is a joint venture between MRF and Hasbro of the US and has introduced strategic games like Chakra View, Triplets, Gotcha and Sixteen-fifteen in the market.
'These are mind-boggling games and require patience, focus, determination and great strategic planning. Today's kids need a dose of these strategic games to come out as real winners and these games give them a bit of brain exercise,' Jeswant explained.
These games were born out of an elective subject that was offered last year at IIT.
The price for these games starts at Rs.399 and is available in all leading toy stores across India.
