Lufthansa airlines reduces fuel surcharge
Passengers flying from India to the US or Canada on Lufthansa aircraft can save up to $100 on each round-trip ticket as the carrier has reduced fuel surcharges on these routes.

Passengers flying from India to the US or Canada on Lufthansa aircraft can save up to $100 on each round-trip ticket as the carrier has reduced fuel surcharges on these routes.
The company announced that the fuel surcharge, which was $420 for a round-trip ticket from India to any LH destination (low-traffic high destination) in the US or Canada, would now come down to $320, effective from Sep 8.
This benefit can be availed of by passengers from any of the seven Lufthansa gateways in India.
In India, the current schedule of Lufthansa includes daily flights between Delhi-Frankfurt, Delhi-Munich, Mumbai-Frankfurt, Mumbai-Munich, Chennai-Frankfurt, Bangalore-Frankfurt, Hyderabad-Frankfurt and three times a week between Kolkata-Frankfurt.
Along with its new partner Swiss, an enhanced network of 66 flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad will be offered to the three European hubs at Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich.
