The Himachal Pradesh government will organise an apple festival at popular tourist destination Manali Aug 26-28 to attract more tourists to the state, a senior official said Monday.

The Himachal Pradesh government will organise an apple festival at popular tourist destination Manali Aug 26-28 to attract more tourists to the state, a senior official said Monday.
During the festival, special packages will be given to the tourists, state Tourism Development Corp managing director Ram Subhag Singh said.
The tourists will also be allowed to pluck apples and stay in wooden cottages in orchards, he added.
