Equities trading flat early afternoon
The Indian equities markets continued to trade flat early Wednesday afternoon due to selling pressure across key sectors.

The Indian equities markets continued to trade flat early Wednesday afternoon due to selling pressure across key sectors.
At 12.30 p.m., the 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Sensex, was down 21.11 points or 0.12 percent to 17,351.90. It had hit a high of 17,413.81 in early trade. At the day's low it touched 17,266.19 points.
At the same time the broader based S and amp;P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was down by 6.00 points or 0.12 percent to 5,138.65.
On BSE, 1,335 shares advanced, 1,116 declined and 82 remained unchanged.
